e. e. cummings, with his powerfully childlike view of the world and his apt phrasing, said it best . . . “The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful.”
And Oscar and Edgar showed that to be the case in a post-April shower jump through what has to be Newport’s best puddle–and, lucky us!–it happens to be right at the top of our street!
Here’s to April showers, the flowers they inspire, and two very busy, very wet boys! And though we hope that some day the city will choose to pave our oft-neglected street, maybe they can wait until puddle-jumping weather is behind us.
