Fright Night

We are in full Halloween mode here, and nothing says Halloween quite like our favorite outdoor display.  It’s a short car ride away and spooky fun; and if you couple it with a full moon in the evening sky, you’re in for a treat.

The folks who set this up essentially open their yard to all visitors and invite the children to touch and interact with the displays.  And as scary as they may appear in photos, they are anything but realistic.  Ask Oscar what he thinks of the displays and he says, “I know they’re just decorations.”  And Edgar?  Well, I’m pretty sure he feels sorry for some of these poor souls, and when he stands still long enough can often be found kissing and hugging them.  Our annual visits to this display are already shaping up to be a pivotal part of our Halloween celebration.
