The Streets of Philadelphia

If you’re a preschooler with only one day to spend in Philadelphia, you’re definitely going to make time for the Please Touch Museum.  And if you’re Oscar, three days in to your whirlwind East Coast adventure, you’re going to want to take the car.  However, when you’re our child you’re going to have to walk–at least a little.  Otherwise you might miss gorgeous fountains, kind people in the park, and a pirate picking up a pizza.  The children’s museum is simply phenomenal due not just to the remarkable exhibits but the kind staff members who circulate throughout the museum and interact with the kids–and seem genuinely happy to do so.  A snack afterward and a leisurely stroll back to the hotel was the perfect prelude to dinner–an Applebee’s in the middle of downtown Philly!  Who could ask for more?
