Baltimore with Bonnie

At long last–after several hours at the B & O Railroad Museum–we were ready to meet my aunt Bonnie and her younger son Stephen at the Hard Rock Cafe in Baltimore for a late lunch.  Bonnie, the mother of two sons and blessed with a sharp and accurate memory, knew just what she was in for dining with two travel-weary toddlers; many thanks to Stephen for joining us, staying at the table for the duration, and not revealing any shock he may have been feeling!  After lunch, Oscar and Edgar took the stage and banged the drums until the manager felt they had had ample opportunity to make their noise.  He then offered the boys an electric guitar (unplugged), which was no doubt far too quiet in contrast.   We then went to the neighboring bookstore and said our goodbyes.  Thank you, Bonnie and Stephen, for lunch, the care packages, and for taking the time to visit with us.  We hope to see you again soon!

I would love to hear your thoughts . . .
